The Catalan Community in Poland will celebrate Sant Jordi on 23 April making a “calçotada” in Warsaw. A “calçotada” is a traditional Catalan meal where a type of green onion is roasted on the grill and then being served with an special sauce made of nuts, garlic, ripe tomatoes and paprika called “ñora”. This traditional Catalan event takes normally place during the first months of the year. There will also be a stand with books provided by the Catalan community along with roses and the Catalan Government Delegation to Central Europe bookmarks.
